'Star Wars'-Like Jedi Training for Kids Coming to Murrieta Library

The Murrieta Public Library's Jedi Training Academy, for children 4 to 12, will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

MURRIETA, CA  –  Do you have what it takes to defend the galaxy? Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to participate in the Murrieta Public Library’s Jedi Training Academy at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in the Community Room.

The Jedi Training Academy will be a carnival-style program with a variety of activities and stations where young Jedis can practice and perfect their skills.

“It seems like almost every child who comes to the Library is interested in Star Wars. Our 'Star Wars' books, music, games, and DVDs are always checked out,” says Youth Services Librarian, Allison Eagans.

This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library. Space is limited to 60 participants; tickets will be available 30 minutes prior to the performance.
