Lourie Kolar, Neighbor

I am a six foot tall blond who was born and raised in Southern California.  I am the mother of three children:  two girls and a boy.  I am the wife of one.  I do not work outside of the home which has been a struggle but a blessing.  If you would have asked me at age 17 what I was going to do with my life it most definitely did not include staying at home with children.  The 17 year old me would have scoffed at that idea.  In fact, I am pretty sure she did.  Now here I am with three children doing the very thing I vowed not to.  But as a mother, I am able to wear many hats:  teacher, lawyer, doctor, nurse, therapist, spiritual guide and referee (not my favorite).  There are other roles I play:  taxi driver, maid, chef, and party planner.  So who am I?  I am one who likes to keep it neutral. People will say I am very even tempered.  I am really not even tempered.  As a general rule, I do not like to make waves.  However, to those who believe that I am even tempered do not have to live with me.  I love to write, and it has been a passion of mine since I was at least 12.
