Oh, and apparently another bug, line breaks are not working in comments...
Winston May 15, 2013 at 12:38 pm
1) The new comment box, at least on the home page, resets itself to blank if i tab away from theRead More patch page, huge design flaw here. 2) The layout is too narrow and non-responsive, with barely 1/3 of the available space on a 1920x1080 display being used for actual articles. there is no reason to use a fixed-width layout in 2013. If this is a limitation of what AOL allows patch editors to do in regards to overal appearance then a bug report should be filed with them by whoever is in charge of technical aspects of the site. If individual patch editors have control over the CSS of their sites, then the width should be a variable width in order to maximize utilized screen realestate. Most screens have a width greater than 1300 pixels, so the average user of the patch is seeing a blank area of anywhere from 150 to 300 pixels on each side. http://www.usability.gov/pdfs/chapter6.pdf <---good guidelines on usability http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/ <---consumer hardware statistics.

Thank you Rick! Incredibly honored to be able to serve my community through such a fantastic visionRead More and avenue!

Welcome, Lindsay!

Major props to Coworking Connection for making the coworking experience more than just about gettingRead More work done but also about meeting people, getting inspired, and having fun. BrooklynWorks at 159, out here on the East Coast, has the same vision. It's great to be part of such a vibrant and exciting community! Now if they would only update their cath lab.
Jon Sims April 18, 2013 at 02:06 pm
He is the one who held up their obtaining a liquor license when they first opened. He also opposedRead More brew ligion and the new trampoline business in the same shopping center. Basically he feels he has the right to force businesses out of his area
Joseph Robertson April 13, 2013 at 01:30 am
And who are you? Aces comedy club has been nothing but positive to the city and the community.Read More Helping run various fundraiser as well as bringing laughter and positivity into peoples lives. You seem to lack this in the worst ways. How will this be a joke for the neighboring community if it hasn't in the past year. You sir should revaluate yourself as a person instead of making harsh accusations about a business you have yet to give a chance or a city that you live in.
Milo Jensen April 9, 2013 at 05:15 pm
When Ace's decides to upgrade it's alcohol license to hard drinks the joke will be on the neighborsRead More that live nearby. It was obvious from the beginning that Murrieta government was in bed with this business. Now, they openly talk about it with pride. I wonder how many free shows they have attended and if they reported it?
djschristensen3 May 6, 2013 at 07:49 pm
that's great. but what would of been better is if the painting studio was from the Temecula valleyRead More instead of san diego.
Mike May 3, 2013 at 03:25 pm
They had better do every thing they can to increase revenue through these ports because more andRead More more shipping is headed for the ports on the Gulf Coast. More centrally located for the entire country, less restrictive taxes, and environmental issues, and less union dock workers with six-figure salaries has many, many importers/exporters going to the new and improved ports in Texas.

He wasn't working at a pizza place, he was one of the owners (hence the name, Bobs's Pizza.) AndRead More very few people commenting on this don't know him. He is a really sweet, generous guy! And his kids will make it through this, they're strong! I hope they read this and know that somebody REALLY does care for them, Im not going to mention names, but darling if you need anything you know where to find me!! ;)
Andrea Smith April 27, 2013 at 05:31 am
As a community I'm sorry to say everyone is guilty of taking money from Bob's investors you seeRead More because the lack of good solid financial accounting all the donations and free goods that were given away without payment to anyone in a sense need to be paid for. I'm sure there was a budget for donations and that was not properly managed causing a large deficit to the bottom line. I bet everyone is so busy calling him a crook but if they stop and really think how many times did Bob tell your organization no! Not very many I know that for a fact he always wanted to help everyone. As they say his heart was bigger than his wallet and couldn't say know cause he didn't want to leave anyone out. So if all you can do is beat the guy down when right now what he really needs is our love and support and prayers I don't know what to tell everyone other than get on your knees ask God to help! My prayer is hate the sin but Lord give me the love for the sinner that you want me to have for him. Help me to serve you Lord and honor your ways help me to remember its not about me I thank you once again for the opportunity to serve you Lord in Jesus Name Amen!
Richard Bowman April 20, 2013 at 09:32 pm
It happened to me and my business. It is a must to have an out of house accountant audit your booksRead More every year. This kind of stuff is happening more often and these kind of people have figured many ways to get money out of your company. The IRS expects payroll taxes to be paid and kept current.
Cyclist April 19, 2013 at 06:22 pm
"follow me around the store to see if I am shoplifting." I have never been followedRead More around like this in Fresh and Easy. Do you look like you are up to no good? Maybe it's time to change your appearance.
Cyclist April 19, 2013 at 06:20 pm
Nutmeg and Jackson is a horrible place for any retail store. There is very little traffic and notRead More enough local population to support anything here. This lot should have been zoned residential. Nice planning Planning Commission.
nanomole39 April 19, 2013 at 03:10 pm
Also this article is wrong,do your research properly this affects peoples livelihood !
Right Wing Extremist April 11, 2013 at 12:55 am
Public pensions approved by Libtard Communists in California are doing infinitely more to bankruptRead More Riverside County than any contract can .
Shane April 10, 2013 at 09:46 pm
These are the quality Conservative Republican politicians that run the nearing bankrupt RiversideRead More County. LOL.......THIS IS CONSERVATIVE IDEOLOGY AT ITS BEST!!!!
Lynda StarWriter April 10, 2013 at 08:30 pm
Soooo, are these open or closed RFPs? How will the local vendor(s) KNOW about the outside bid(s) atRead More the gate to better estimate a competitive advantage? Will ALL of the vendor proposals be made available for perusal, facilitiating $$$$ modification and subsequent, lowest bid contract?
Mom of two March 30, 2013 at 09:57 am
Both my dad and sister were in the hospital last year. My dad was at Inland Valley and the nursesRead More there were not friendly or good at giving pain medication. They acted annoyed if they were called to the room. My sister was at Kaiser and the nurses were wonderful. Very caring and friendly. Also, this was not a one time visit for either one of them.
Roberta Wrye March 30, 2013 at 12:17 am
We keep getting promises from Southwest that their hospitals are getting better or they "areRead More making improvements". How many years have we heard this now? And we are supposed to trust that their new hospital in Temecula will be state-of-the-art? No wonder most people in the area try to go to Loma Linda or Scripps if at all possible.
Woodman March 25, 2013 at 03:30 pm
Souds like quite a life you lead, Laura.
American Right March 25, 2013 at 02:06 pm
Yes Laura they can see through walls and roofs. The technology has been there to do this for over aRead More decade.
Laura March 25, 2013 at 01:41 am
wait...drones can see in my house? Through my French shutters, curtains and blinds? or are youRead More talking about our yards? Or is this just applying to those who leave their blinds open? Cause I don't ever open my blinds or shutters. I am rarely outside in my yard, if ever. So then I am good.
Andrew Christensen March 25, 2013 at 10:01 pm
I am "lucky" enough to live in the WMWD and our water and sewer rates are about 30% higherRead More than they were with the EMWD in our old house. It certainly isn't right that we have no choice for our water service and yet we pay more than someone two or three blocks away from here.
Roberta Wrye March 24, 2013 at 09:02 pm
This has been going on for a very long time. Thanks Douglas V. for bringing this to the public'sRead More attention and doing the needed research to expose the ripoff. Murrieta Council, where are you??
john ryerson March 24, 2013 at 12:03 pm
i know its a ripoff. our leaders in murrieta wont do anything about it because they are all paid offRead More buy these big companies to shut their mouth. and so goes our government.

Welcome Harbor Freight. I love this place, and glad I won't have to travel all the way to HemetRead More anymore. Sure some items will not work well, but I haven't had to return anything in a long time. The fact that parts or equipment is made in China doesn't matter to me. It's part of the economy now. In my global economics course we discuss China all the time and I posed this question and will do the same here. "Does a company have to hire you simply because you are and American, or does it have to right to seek the best return from it's investor's.) Like someone said above, we want our stuff cheap as possible and in vast quantities. We are a consumer nation now; we don't produce nearly as much as we used too. Harbor freight is a good store, and will have a me and my family as a customer. Americans, we like our stuff big and small at the cheapest prices. I make a very decent income and I penny pinch, use coupons, drive cheap cars, so buying something with made in china on it,is not going to change my shopping opinion. Thanks for coming Harbor Freight
(USMC)sapper7 March 22, 2013 at 03:18 pm
Everyone has valid points. This day in age more bang for my buck means im happy and the wife isRead More happy with my tool buying projects. I love Harbor Freight
Michael McChesney March 22, 2013 at 12:19 pm
and...Tim's, not Tobias's, comments sum up the sad mindset that has evolved in our country, livableRead More wages, really? What happened to getting a better education and finding a higher paying occupation that does allow for livable wages. Even if college is not for you how about multiple jobs to make a livable wage, something my generation had no problem doing to put a roof over a families head. There are to many people wanting their fair share when they have not put in the effort to be awarded such things. If Harbor Freight employs 50 people, good for them, and if you want to be unemployed until you find a job that has a living wage good luck to you!
N1smo2go March 25, 2013 at 08:29 pm
Can we really be angry that the number 1 investors in this country are no longer Americans. What doRead More we really spend our money on other than materialistic items. We have stopped producing and now we just consume. We want high wages for work, but want to work less. We are driving the necessity of doing business with China and other countries because of regulation, taxes, "global warming nonsense", and other business killing ideas that force companies to jump ship and do business with our no so favorable trade partner China. It's simple, we have to start investing in our country ourselves. Not waiting for the corrupt politicians to do it. Buying usable land that can be developed and hold on to it, pass it down the family tree and keep it. We can't really complain, when WE the citizenry put these people in office, and of course money talks(tax revenue)
Steve Newman March 20, 2013 at 04:04 pm
unless of course it is legislated by the liberal in government-path to citiznship for all- oops-onlyRead More if you are from Mexico and will vote democrat.

I think yen is Japanese- but your point is taken.
Steve March 18, 2013 at 01:43 pm
I agree! Olivera's was awesome!
Stacy Kerr March 18, 2013 at 03:22 am
Unfortunate that the big company booted out Olivera's and now is moving out themselves. WTG! :/

My understanding, from someone who's "in the know" with Starbucks regionally, is the newRead More location is going to be in the USPS shopping center on the other side of I-215 @ Whitewood. Not sure if it'll be new construction or an existing storefront though.

Mess hair, tight spandex and/or pajama's, and slippers....first class all the way, everyRead More Monday-Sunday at Wal-mart from 9 p.m.-11:00 a.m.
Becky Honkington March 18, 2013 at 12:51 pm
The Ombre style is dark roots and lighter ends. It looks awful and the celebrities have alreadyRead More moved past it. Does this mean that skunk hair is over in the Inland Empire? I hope the platform flip-flops and muffin tops follow suit.
mike smith March 16, 2013 at 11:10 pm
Terry you forgot to mention the wife, good luck with that one sir.
TheOtherGuy March 16, 2013 at 03:47 pm
It is amazing how clueless many businesses are about not just the "little things" thatRead More make for a positive customer experience, but even the BIG things, the basics!
Jax March 16, 2013 at 10:39 am
What a great guy.!!!THANK YOU!! I was in the customer service field for over 25 years and I am soRead More frustrated by the lack of customer service these days in so many other places. So pleased to see that good customer service is still around.. I would definitely patron your shop when I am in that area. :).

The wasteful county could chop a third of its positions and most of us would hardly notice or care.
