HIRING: Sheriff's Department Looking For Female Recruits

A Women's Fitness Challenge is set for Oct. 26 for women interested in joining the Sheriff's Department as deputies or correctional officers. Registration is at 7 a.m. at Chaparall High School in Temecula.

Are you a woman who has what it takes to serve with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department?

Sheriff Stan Sniff and his department will be hosting the 2013 Women’s Fitness Challenge on Oct. 26 in Temecula. 

Registration begins at 7 a.m. at Chaparral High School, 27215 Nicolas Road in Temecula. Throughout the event, the department’s specialized teams will have a wide variety of displays set up for participants to view.

The Women’s Fitness Challenge is an opportunity for women who are interested in a career as a deputy sheriff or correctional deputy to learn techniques to be successful in the physical assessment testing process.
