S.A.F.E. to Host First Annual Art, Anime & Cosplay Expo in Murrieta

Come dressed as your favorite anime/manga, comic, fantasy or video game character on Saturday, Sept. 7.

San Diego had Comic-Con, but Murrieta has the Art, Anime & Cosplay Expo!

On Saturday Sept. 7,  from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. come to the Murrieta Community Center at 41810 Juniper St., Murrieta, for the first annual Art, Anime & Cosplay Expo.

Come dressed as your favorite anime/manga, comic, fantasy or video game character. (This is a family-friendly event so no explicit, adult attire will be permitted.)

See the talented artists art show off fantasy themed art sponsored by Big Foot Graphics, and watch how it’s done with live drawing demonstrations by elite artists from Big Foot Graphics. Enjoy a Princess Tutu tribute by Inland Valley Classical Ballet Theater, Karate and martial arts demonstrations by Kobushi Shotokan Karate-Do and improv by PRN among other entertainment. Cosplay costume contest will be at 4 p.m. so bring your most creative effort. Local vendors in the genre of anime, art and comics will also be present, including Tokyo Lifestyle.

Tickets to the event are $10 pre-sale or $15 at the door. Tickets are limited. To purchase your ticket go to www.Artcosplayexpo.com. Proceeds from this event will benefit the non-profits, Safe Alternatives for Everyone’s P.A.L. Program that helps youth and children and Reignite, which helps women gain skills to re-enter the workforce. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
