LLUMC-Murrieta Hosting Free Family Health Fair Sept. 29

Health screenings, a petting zoo, obstacle courses, a rock climbing wall, a farmer's market and complimentary popcorn will be offered Sunday afternoon during the free event.

The community is invited to an activity-packed Family Health Fair scheduled for Sunday at Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta.

The Family Health Fair runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 in the parking lot of the Professional Office Building at LLUMC-Murrieta, 28078 Baxter Road, Murrieta.

Health screenings, a petting zoo, obstacle courses, a rock climbing wall and complimentary popcorn will be offered during the free event.

Live music will be played by SouthBound and Company, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band.

"We are very excited about this health fair," said Kathryn Stiles, spokeswoman for LLUMC-Murrieta. "We will be offering more than we did last year and will have a substantial amount of health screenings available."

Event-goers can also meet physicians, pick up information about wellness education and browse fresh, local food from vendors such as Sage Mountain Farm.

Free prizes will be raffled off at 6 p.m. (Must be present to win.)
