Star Party Set for Jan. 7 at Murrieta Library

Families are invited to explore the night sky with the Temecula Valley Astronomers Group.

MURRIETA, CA – Star light, star bright, what cool things we’ll see tonight! On Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at 6 p.m., families will explore the night sky with the Temecula Valley Astronomers Group.

The event will begin in the Library’s Community Room with a short discussion of what the children can expect to see through the telescopes. The group will then move outside to the Library’s Garden of Verses where the telescopes will be set up for viewing.

“Events like this are fun and educational,” says Youth Services Librarian, Allison Eagans. “The kids really seem to enjoy it. We have done this program annually for the past few years and it has always had a great turnout.”
