Rainfall Totals Reported for Wednesday's Storm

The storm dropped rain on much of the region.

Riverside County will dry out today in the aftermath of an autumn storm that generated off-and-on rainfall, gusty winds and chilly temperatures.

There was a slight chance of isolated showers in mountain areas early today but otherwise the county was not likely to see any more rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Rainfall totals from Wednesday's storm were 0.47 inches in Hemet and at Skinner Lake; 0.4 at March Air Force Base; 0.39 in southern Riverside and at the French Valley Airport; 0.35 in Murrieta; 0.28 in Temecula; 0.24 in Norco; and 0.2 at the Riverside Airport. In the mountains, there was more than an inch of rain recorded at Vista Grande and five inches of snow at Pine Cove.

The Coachella Valley received virtually no rain Wednesday -- 0.07 inches at Palm Springs Airport.
