A Few Cooler Days, Chance of Rain on Tap

The forecast for Friday and Saturday shows a drop in temperatures and the possibility of rain.

After an unseasonably warm week, Murrieta is in store for some cooler temperatures over the next few days and maybe, some rain.

According to a National Weather Service forecast, the high temperature Friday in Murrieta will be around 67 degrees. It should be mostly cloudy, with a 20 percent chance of rain in the city. That chance of rain will likely increase to 30 percent Friday evening.

Saturday will also be cool, with the high temperature forecast to be around 62 degrees. Saturday should be mostly cloudy, with a 20 percent chance of rain.

Sunday is likely to bring decreasing clouds and a high temperature near 66 degrees, according to the current forecast provided by NWS.

There are no weather advisories in effect.
