Star Party Set for Murrieta Library

Families can learn about the constellations first and then view them from their personal telescope or a telescope provided by the Temecula Valley Astronomers.

Residents are invited to bring their entire family to explore the night sky during a star party at the Murrieta Public Library.

John Garrett and members of the Temecula Valley Astronomers will host the in the Library’s Community Room and Garden of Verses.

“There aren’t many opportunities for the children to view the stars through a telescope with professional guidance,” said Youth Services Librarian, Allison Eagans, in a news release.

“We are so thrilled that the Temecula Valley Astronomers will be on hand to help give the children of our community the opportunity to build an interest in astronomy.”
