Guests can purchase framed, matted or unframed photographs by Richard Cronberg.

"Spring in Focus," a selection of work by local photographer Richard Cronberg, will be on exhibit for two days this month at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve.

The exhibit is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 24-25 at the 39400 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta. It is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Guests can purchase framed, matted or unframed photographs during the exhibition with a donation to the Santa Rosa Plateau Foundation.

Cronberg is an award-winning nature photographer and writer with more than 500 articles and photographs published nationally. He was honored by the National Wildlife Federation, Birds and Bloom Magazine and Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

His stunning photographs capture the colors and beauty of nature’s wildlife, said Ginger Greaves, president and founder of Santa Rosa Plateau Foundation, in a news release.

Cronberg has been a photographer and instructor for 30 years and currently teaches basic photography, digital darkroom and wild bird identification for the SRPF at the Ecological Reserve, Greaves said.

Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the SRPF children’s education programs at the Reserve, Greaves said. Approximately 7,000 students per school year from 65 schools and 10 local school districts gain exposure to the natural outdoors through the programs, she said.
