Murrieta Fire Station to Host Head Shaving for Local Cancer Charity

From the Murrieta Fire Department: 

On March 9, 2014, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm, The Murrieta Fire Department is hosting a charity event to raise money for childhood cancer research at Fire Station 1 at 41825 Juniper Street in Murrieta. 

St. Baldrick’s is a cancer foundation that aids in research and development of new treatments for children with cancer.

At the event, licensed hair stylist will be shaving the heads both men and women who have already signed up for the event.

In addition, any willing participants can sponsor a person as they get their head shaved to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The public can register and donate online as well at the following website: www.stbaldricks.org
