Foundation For Senior Citizens' Wishes Hosting Gala

A nonprofit organization that grants wishes for senior citizens is hosting a benefit gala Feb. 23.

Murrieta-based nonpofit Seniors Having One Wish Foundation (SHOW) invites the community to its first annual benefit event.

Founded by Murrieta resident Marsha Anderson, the sole purpose of SHOW is to grant the wishes of seniors citizens.

Those who wish to help SHOW accomplish this are encouraged to attend a benefit gala from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Eagle's Nest Ballroom at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula.

The black-tie affair includes dinner, dancing, live entertainment and a silent auction, according to Anderson. Sponsorships, vendor tables and donations are also welcome, she said.

"I have been overwhelmed with donations, sponsorships and auction items from Lakers, Coca Cola, and by surrounding businesses with their support," Anderson said. "This gala event is going to be an awesome evening, and I can't wait to start granting many more wishes to our senior community from all the proceeds."
