Tracy's Territory: Check out This Local Fun Alternative for Halloween

Calvary Chapel Murrieta is hosting its Harvest Festival Oct. 31. Festivities are free.

I remember as a child when my sister and I would trick or treat in Cerritos, the city that I grew up in. It seems like it might have been a different time.

If you are looking for a fun-filled, free adventure this Halloween, I would love to recommend the Harvest Festival at Located at 24225 Monroe Ave., Murrieta, my family and I have been avid attendees for many years.

Now that my children are older, my family and I volunteer to serve each year. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31. There are several booths set up for games, and I believe a few "Jump for Joys." Typically there is music but the best part of all is it is FREE! Candy is passed out, coffee, water and desserts are all served, free of charge.
