Murrieta Business Hosting World's Largest Swimming Lesson

The event is taking place across the globe, with the intent to break an international Guinness World Record for most participants worldwide taking a simultaneous swim lesson.

At 8 a.m. Thursday morning, a local business will take part in The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson.

Noonan Family Swim School is an official host location for the event, which is an international Guinness World Record attempt at the most participants worldwide taking a simultaneous swimming lesson. In 2010, the first World’s Largest Swimming Lesson had almost 4,000 participants across 34 states and five countries.

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson was created to spread the word about water safety. According to organizers, drowning is the second leading cause of unintended, injury related death of children between the ages of 1 to 14 in the United States.
