Local At-Risk Kids Treated to Summer Bible Camp

Local at-risk children in grades two through six recently enjoyed a week of summer camp care of Murrieta-based Community Outreach Ministry.

Campers from Murrieta, Wildomar and Lake Elsinore attended Sa Ha Le Lodge June 18-22 in Big Bear Lake, according to a news release.

The camp theme was "Operation Space Blast Off!" into the Bible.

"Thank you to our sponsors for donating scholarships helping the children to reach new heights," the nonprofit stated.

COM is giving at-risk kids a second chance to be winners and champions in education, technology, and an entrepreneur spirit, according to the news release.
