Vista Murrieta Baseball Takes Control of Southwestern League

Monday's win over Chaparral put Vista Murrieta atop the Southwestern League.

Vista Murrieta defeated Temecula's Chaparral on Monday, 1-0.

The win means Vista Murrieta baseball, ranked No. 5 in Division 1 CIF-Southern Section, takes sole possession of first place in Southwestern League play. 

Vista Murrieta is currently 11-1, 5-0 in league; Chaparral is 6-3, 3-1 in league.
