Vista Murrieta Baseball, Softball Charge Into CIF Playoffs

Baseball and softball postseason pairings released; Southwestern League champions in baseball and softball are home for opening playoff round.

’s baseball and softball teams, both Southwestern League champions, will be home to start the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 baseball and softball playoffs.
 
The Bronco boys await the winners of Tuesday’s wild card game between Villa Park and Royal. Baseball first-round action for Vista Murrieta is Friday.
 
The Broncos are ranked No. 4 in the latest CIF-SS Division 1 poll.
 
Vista Murrieta’s girls softball team will be in action on Thursday, facing Big VIII third-place team Norco.
