The defense is playing well, with seniors Sam Allen, Charlie Mckee and Brandon Finne bringing experience and leadership to this young defensive unit. Terin Solomon, Kody Thornburg and Desean Bullock are tough, quick and aggressive against both the run and pass. Noah Johnson, Michael Payne and Jordan Silva solidify a very talented Nighthawk defensive line.

Last week, Murrieta Valley’s unstoppable running back tandem of Jack Magpusao and Jacob Augustine was limited to just 101 yards on 30 carries.

This week, the Nighthawks' offensive line needs to open holes for the two exceptional running backs. Captain and center Lloyd Waialai anchors the line consisting of  Brandon Rada, Kyle Underwood and sophomores Jeremiah Boggs, Christian Linsky and Grant Hatch.

As the season has progressed, more offensive tools are being utilized. Look for quarterback Andrew Blake to start spreading his passes to the Nighthawk Receivers Brandon Iacobellis, Jaleel Shabazz, Jalah “Kubasaki” Patton, Sean Young, and Kale Novak.
