Murrieta Valley High Girls Soccer Player on All-CIF Team
Nighthawks senior midfielder Ninfa Ramirez is selected to the elite All-CIF team.
The Southwestern League was well-represented in the All-CIF Division 2 teams as two Great Oak soccer players and one Murrieta Valley soccer player were selected to the CIF Division 2 All-CIF team, the CIF-Southern Section announced.
Wolfpack senior defender Paul Malherbe and junior goalie Michelle Craft made the Division 2 team, as did Nighthawks senior midfielder Ninfa Ramirez.
In all, 22 players from each division were chosen by the coaches for their outstanding play this season.

Malherbe led the Wolfpack to a Southwestern League title this season, but they lost in the Division 2 quarterfinals to King High. The Great Oaks girl’s team also captured the Southwestern League title, but lost its first round game to Glendora.
Ramirez paced Murrieta Valley, which finished second in the Southwestern League. The Nighthawks lost to Upland on penalty kicks in the second round of the CIF tournament.
