Murrieta Boys Soccer Team Wins Tournament of Champions
Boys soccer team from Murrieta beats out teams from Vista, El Cajon and San Diego to take tournament title.
The FC Murrieta Boys U11 soccer team has a reason to celebrate.
The team won the Tournament of Champions soccer tournament this past weekend in San Diego.
The first-year team went undefeated and only allowed one goal during the event while playing teams from El Cajon, Vista and San Diego, said Lance Young, head coach.

"The championship game against Quest soccer club was extremely hard fought and was won 2-1 in overtime," Young said.
FC (Futbol Club) Murrieta is sponsored by the Murrieta Youth Soccer League, and gives recreational players a chance to play at the club level at an affordable cost.
