Mesa's Bryson Bridges Impresses at Football University's Top Gun Event

The junior defensive lineman for Murrieta Mesa was invited to Football University's Top Gun event in Dublin, Ohio, where he trained with current and former NFL players and coaches.

News release:

Local defensive lineman, Bryson Bridges from Murrieta Mesa High School showed off his skills at the "invitation only" Football University “TOP GUN” Camp held in Dublin, Ohio this past weekend.

Bryson was invited to TOP GUN based of his outstanding performance at the regional San Diego Football University camp. He joined more than 1,000 of the nation's other top athletes at their position and trained with current and former NFL players and coaches.

Junior Bryson Bridges is a standout on both sides of the line and will be helping the Rams anchor down the line of scrimmage. Bryson started eight of 10 games as a sophomore varsity player at Murrieta Mesa and is highly expected to have an anticipated upcoming breakout season.

Last season, he received the Coach's Award from Rams head coach Justin Schaeffer and was also awarded Player of the Week for his outstanding performance from Southern Riverside Outreach program “U-turn.”

When asked about his upcoming season Bryson said, “I will be a force to be reckoned with as I have trained all off season and have learned from some of the Top coaches at FBU which have helped me sharpen my tools and this season I plan to prove why I too should be a top recruited student athlete.”

TOP GUN is the culmination of Football University's 40-camp nationwide tour gathering the most elite performers from across the United States and allowing them to compete and display their abilities together on one stage. Football University has an impressive alumni list that includes some of the top college football recruits and players in the nation.
