The Broncos got out of the gates fast in the first inning, scoring five runs keyed by great at bats by Bruce Sims and Jaison Craig. With one out and bases loaded, Sims was down in the count 0-2 but battled back to earn a walk and the first RBI of the game. Craig came up next and hit a two-run double and the Broncos never looked back. Spencer Giron (Vista Murrieta) pitched five plus innings of shut out ball and Tyler Russell (Vista Murrieta) sat down all five hitters he faced to close out the game.
