Ivonne was born in Mexico City, where she attended the National School of Classical Dance, dependent of the National Arts Institute of Arts 1977-1986, as an intern receiving general education courses and Classical Dance instruction.
At the end of her deep and long preparation combined with a strong discipline as a ballerina, she enjoyed performing with the National Dance Company in Mexico City. Ivonne has had the opportunity to work with great dancers and choreographers including The Royal Ballet of London, Houston Dance Center, The Kirov Ballet and Ballet of Cuba.
Ivonne is very excited to have the opportunity to teach all that she has learned. It is very fascinating to her to see the passion in every student to learn ballet.
She believes that it is important to work really hard with dedication and discipline to get great technique and grace so dancers can enjoy what they are doing and be able to project to the audience how beautiful and unique the art of dancing truly is.
