2012 Horseless Rally

9:00 a.m.–Early Afternoon

Teams/parents must be checked in and ready to participate by 9:00 a.m.

All new Pony Clubbers and a parent–this rally is for kids who have never rallied, are new to Pony Club or just want to have fun. Parents will attend turn-out inspection and the horse management trailer educational session with their child’s team. Parents may attend all stations with their child’s team. Parents will also have a question and answer session. Please Bring: Paddock boots, belt, shirt tucked in, hair tied back, PC pin, medical release arm band, watch (there will be a schedule to keep). Bring helmet, halter and lead rope, girth, saddle, bridle and a saddle rack. Items should be identified. All tack should be clean. What to Expect: This day will involve rotating stations, including: Show Jump, Dressage, Jog Out, Turn Out/ Saftey Check, Turn Back, Overnight Stall Set Up, Rally Trunk, Competitor Briefing and other fun activities. Parent-in-Charge: Please assign a “Parent-in-Charge.” This could be your chaperone or other adult. Their job will be to help keep their team together and communicate any changes to the team. They will also check in for the team and be in charge of badges and paperwork for the team.
