Broncos Ride Roughshod Over Alaska's Wolverines
The visiting South Wolverines of Anchorage, Al. came into the Vista Murrieta Broncos' stadium as the number two team in Alaska and riding a 4-0 win streak. They left bruised on the wrong end of a 49-8 shellacking.
The boys from the north had won by a combined score of 199-9 and showed a pretty solid running game in the first quarter, only to be upstaged by the Broncos.
At the end of the first quarter, Vista Murrieta High School was up 14-0. At the half, the Broncos increased their lead to 28-0.
After three quarters, they had spotted the Wolverines eight points but collected 14 more of their own to make it 42-8.
