Broncos, Pumas, Nighthawks and Patriots Top Press-Enterprise Football Poll
Vista Murrieta remains undefeated after week 8.
As expected, Coach Coley Candaele’s Vista Murrieta Broncos are listed first in The Press-Enterprise Football Rankings for week 9.
The Broncos are coming off a 45-17 win over the previously unbeaten Nighthawks of Murrieta Valley. Coach Greg Ireland’s Nighthawks slipped to seventh in the poll this week.
Chaparral remained in the No. 4 spot after escaping with a 21-14 win over the Temecula Valley Wolfpack. Coach Ryan Tukua and the Pumas host the Nighthawks Friday night.

Menifee Heritage came in ninth in the poll after taking care of Paloma Valley 24-13 last week. Coach Kraig Broach takes his team to Lakeside High Schoo this week where the Patriots will face the Lancers.
In CIF Southern Section polls for the Inland Division, Vista Murrieta was ranked No. 1, while Chaparral was fifth and Corona Centennial No. 2.
