Vista Murrieta, Murrieta Valley Top CIF Football Polls

The Broncos remain at No. 1 while the Nighthawks lay claim to the No. 9 spot in Week 7 CIF polls.

Murrieta is home to two of the top-ranked teams in the CIF Southern Section Inland Division this year.

Undefeated Vista Murrieta takes the No. 1 spot as Coach Candaeles’s Broncos drive toward the CIF Playoffs.

Murrieta Valley Head Coach Gred Ireland’s Nighthawks are ranked ninth and also undefeated. They defeated a very tough Murrieta Mesa Rams team 33-30 Friday night. The Rams are ranked 20th in the division.

One thing is for sure for next week’s polls: one of these teams will not be undefeated.

Vista Murrieta will travel cross town to face the Nighthawks Friday night for the showdown of the two 7-0 teams.

This is one of the toughest divisions in Southern California high school football and here is the top 10 breakdown:

INLAND DIVISION

1. Vista Murrieta 7‐0

2. Centennial Corona 6‐1

3. Upland 7‐0

4. Charter Oak 6‐1

5. Chaparral 6‐1

6. Rancho Cucamonga 5‐2

7. Redlands 6‐1

8. Chino Hills 4‐2‐1

9. Murrieta Valley 7‐0

10. Redlands East Valley  3‐3

Hey Maggie, I don't get a chance to talk to the help desk but the ad has gone away for now. I justRead More made a comment on one of Carl Petersons blogs and now the comment has disappeared and no trace of it in my comment history. Are comments still pending proof reading before they post? Was it taken down by the blog author? I realize you guys have made a lot of changes so I'm still not sure if there are bugs being worked out or if some thing else is going on. Any help would be appreciated.
