The person who serves as "Thunder" the mascot for the Lake Elsinore Storm was out of the hospital and recovering Saturday from a seizure suffered during a Red Ribbon Week event at a Murrieta elementary school.
The incident occurred Friday morning, during the event at Cole Canyon Elementary School.
Thunder suffered a small seizure during the event, according to Chris Jones, general manager for Storm Baseball.
He was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was cleared medically and released, Jones told Patch.
It was not immediately clear whether Thunder collapsed in the view of the students.
