As an avid sports fan from the Murrieta area, I have always been impressed by the character of the Vista Murrieta programs......until now. I was at the Vista boy's basketball game the other night and was disappointed to see virtually no support for their team. I know they are struggling this season, but is Vista Murrieta only about the wins? The class and unity the school preaches is only for the winning programs? A school is more than just football; there are dozens of sports in high school. Shame on the Vista fans for only supporting the winning times.

joe scalero - thank you! as a mother of a vista varsity basketball player...it was terribly sad this year that the boys received NO support from the school....the band doesn't play like it used to.....the only ones that show up are the parents of the players. Maybe if the gym was filled like the football stands were...that would of given out boys some support.
