Parents are invited to several upcoming Family Math Nights that will be held at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District.
The Family Math Nights will include eight different math activities for students to do with parents. Games range from place value to multiplication, addition and geometry.
These evenings are an opportunity for parents and students to become familiar with strategies that enhance learning in math. The interactive math games can then be recreated for use at home to bridge the learning between school and home.
Family Math Nights will be held on the following dates from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.:
Tuesday, Jan. 29: Rail Ranch Elementary
Thursday, Jan. 31: Avaxat Elementary
Tuesday, Feb. 5: E. Hale Curran Elementary
Thursday, Feb. 7: Murrieta Elementary
Tuesday, Feb. 26: Alta Murrieta Elementary
Thursday, Feb. 28: Buchanan Elementary
