MSJC, Cal State San Marcos Sign Historic Transfer Agreement

The agreement guarantees MSJC students admission to the CSUSM campus in Temecula.

An agreement guaranteeing Mt. San Jacinto College students admission to California State University, San Marcos, Temecula campus, was signed last week.

The memorandum of understanding will increase the transfer rate of MSJC students to CSUSM Temecula by providing a clear pathway for transfer admission to baccalaureate programs, according to Karin Marriott, MSJC spokesperson.

"It will increase the college-going rate within the local district and strengthen existing articulation efforts between MSJC and CSUSM-T," Marriott said in a new release.
