Inland Empire Football All-Star Classic is Tonight

The game will be played at 7 p.m. at Corona High School.

Football is not over just yet.

Players from Murrieta and Temecula high schools are participating in the 27th Annual SPORT Foundation Inland Empire All-Star Classic at 7 p.m. Saturday at Corona High School.

The contest is a charity event that features the top high school seniors in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Vista Murrieta High School's Donnell Toliver will be joining teammates Treshon Broughton, Bryce Smith and Nick Stevens on the field. Toliver was the starting left guard and a team captain for the Broncos.

Representing Murrieta Valley will be Michael Payne and Terin Solomon. They were the catalysts to Murrieta Valley’s impressive defense this year.

Wide receiver and the Inland Empire’s All-time Career Pass leader Kahlil Sharpe will represent the Murrieta Mesa Rams.

The Southwestern League will also send running back Jakob Certeza and punter-safety Garrett Ackermann from the Great Oak Wolfpack to the
game.

Offensive lineman Adison Pulsipher from Temecula Valley will represent the Golden Bears.

Chaparral is sending running back Justin Harris, tight end Patrick Clifford and linebacker Kyle Jones.

Coaching the Riverside All-Stars will be Chaparral’s Ryan Tukua, who led the Pumas to a 7-4, third-place finish in the tough Southwestern League. Alex Pierce of Rialto Carter High School will be coaching the San Bernardino All Stars.

The annual game was developed by The SPORT Foundation and benefits many youth programs. For 30 years, the Foundation has been treating thousands of athlete injuries every year in the Inland Empire.

Over the course of the past 27 years, proceeds from the game have resulted in more than $125,000 in scholarships for student athletes from the Inland Empire.

The game is presented by The Press-Enterprise newspaper and Community Medical Group of Riverside.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.

Hey Maggie, I don't get a chance to talk to the help desk but the ad has gone away for now. I justRead More made a comment on one of Carl Petersons blogs and now the comment has disappeared and no trace of it in my comment history. Are comments still pending proof reading before they post? Was it taken down by the blog author? I realize you guys have made a lot of changes so I'm still not sure if there are bugs being worked out or if some thing else is going on. Any help would be appreciated.
