Club Collecting Prom Dresses

The Interact Club from Murrieta Mesa High School, along with several area businesses, have organized the first annual "Cinderella For a Day" program.

The Interact Club from Murrieta Mesa High School is seeking the public's assistance in gathering gently-used or new prom dresses.

Dresses will be collected through March 30 as part of the club's first annual "Cinderella For a Day." Students from all high schools in Murrieta can come pick a dress. If they decide to use it they may bring another dress in return, said Reyna Reyna, who is helping organize the drive.

So far 125 dresses have been collected in a variety of sizes, from 0 to 2X, she said.
