Murrieta Valley, Vista Murrieta and Great Oak are home for their first CIF Matches

Defending two-time CIF Southern Section 3 Murrieta Valley has earned a bye in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs. The Nighthawks were bumped up a division due to the success of their program and are ranked sixth in Division 2.

They will begin their challenge for yet another CIF Championship on Valentine’s Day. Thursday’s opponents for the Nighthawks will be the winners of Tuesday’s match between ML King and Westlake.

The Broncos will host Newberry for round one of the playoffs on Tuesday. The Wofpack will also be home in the first round as Millikan will be coming to Great Oak pool.

Chaparral will travel to Royal High School in Simi Valley to take on the Highlanders.
