Azusa Pacific University Murrieta Relocates Next to Sam's Club

As of April 4, Azusa Pacific University Murrieta Regional Center is located next to Sam's Club on Murrieta Hot Springs Road.

Azusa Pacific University Murrieta Regional Center has moved from its Los Alamos Road location to a new building, according to a news release:

Azusa Pacific University Murrieta Regional Center moved on Friday, April 4 to its new facility located at 40508 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, Murrieta, situated to the right of Sam’s Club.

Azusa Pacific University Murrieta Regional Center now occupies approximately 30,000 square feet which features 17 state-of-the-art classrooms, a small and large conference room, staff and faculty offices, and a student lounge area with wireless network.

Azusa Pacific University, founded in 1899, is a premier evangelical, Christian university committed to "God First" and excellence in higher education.

APU’s Murrieta Regional Center has been in Southwest Riverside County for 29 years. As one of the fastest growing communities in Riverside County, Murrieta serves as a prime location for Azusa Pacific University. APU is an active community partner with the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce, Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Economic Development Corporation of Southwest California.

“We are grateful for the exceptional assistance and guidance we received  throughout the development process provided by The City of Murrieta to make this a smooth transition for us,” said Nori Matsumoto, interim director, APU Murrieta.

APU held its place for the fifth year in the most prestigious category of U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges 2013 rankings in the National Universities category. 

Additionally, APU recently earned a nine-year reaccreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. 

APU is a GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program participant enabling the university to offer student veterans scholarship funds to help cover the unmet portion of tuition costs. G.I. Jobs named APU a "Military-Friendly School" for 2012–13, placing APU among the top 15 percent of schools in the country helping military students reach their educational dreams.

The Murrieta Regional Center offers a wide variety of accelerated degrees in business, education and credential programs. All courses are offered in the evenings and are taught by full-time faculty and local adjunct professors.  The regional center is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
