Thors Story

We rescued Thor from a local rescue about a month ago. We have 2 other puppies and Thor has fit right in. His first 3 years of live he has been moved from home to home and his last home he had been bullied by a alpha female and has a scar from his previous home. He is the leader of the pack and due to negligence on our rental property our fence is rotted and our puppies got out monday morning. After figure it out with in 10 mins of them being gone we went out searching calling the rescue and shelters making them aware he is gone. I got a call back from the rescue about 45 mins later with a heart breaking call that he had been hit. A receptionist at a vet clinic was on her way to work and had found two cars pulled over pulling him off of winchester and into her car. He was in shock and couldnt walk. He was so excited to see us when we rushed down the vet office. He tried to get up and we found he was very injuried. We transported him to SunnyMead Vet clinic in moreno valley because of money reasons and trying to prevent making the decision to put him down. We have had so much love over the week and have made every effort to tell his story and get help. The vet hospital has been taking good care of him but the time is closing up to get the surgery. The vet has dropped the down payment and we are hoping by the end of today he is in surgery and on a path to recovery. He is fine other then not being able to walk and as pet owners you never want to make the decision to put a healthy dog down. He deserves a chance at a healthy happy life at our happy home.
