Western Municipal Seeks Murrieta Customers for Advisory Committee

Western Municipal Water District is seeking engaged customers in its Murrieta Division to be part of its Murrieta Advisory Committee, according to a news release.

The committee gathers no more than four times per year from approximately 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the District’s Murrieta Office, 42290 Ivy St., for meetings led by Western’s Division 3 Board Member Brenda Dennstedt.

The Murrieta Advisory Committee was formed in 2006 after the merger of Western and the Murrieta County Water District, the agency explained.

"The committee provides a local forum for the District’s customers to communicate with their elected District representative and staff on issues and initiatives related to water," said Matthew Buck, a community affairs representative for the agency.

Buck encouraged Murrieta customers interested learning more about joining the committee to email outreach@wmwd.com or call 951-571-7261.
