Cities could go bankrupt with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, said Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone.
The Republican leader said he's concerned that county governments will "be bearing the responsibility and the financial brunt of providing health care," according to a Press-Enterprise report.
He told the newspaper that "the state hasn’t provided enough money to Riverside County to cover the cost for overseeing prisoners shifted to the county through realignment" and because of that, he's "always very cynical."
