Romney Acceptance Speech: Republicans to Gather in Murrieta

A viewing party for Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Maxx Pizza Co. in Murrieta.

Local campaign organizers for Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney plan to celebrate his televised acceptance speech to the Republican National Convention.

The party will get underway at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Maxx Pizza Co. (formerly ) at 41539 Kalmia St. in Murrieta, according to Scott Mann, chair for the City of Menifee Mitt Romney for President 2012.

Phil Paule, Republican candidate for the 67th State Assembly District, which includes Murrieta, is hosting the event.

Steve Baric, vice chairman of the California Republican Party, will be in attendance, according to Mann.
