Romney Acceptance Speech Party Attracts Local Republicans

Republicans gathered Thursday in Murrieta to watch Mitt Romney give his televised acceptance speech from the Republican National Convention.

More than 75 Republicans gathered Tuesday night in Murrieta at . to watch Mitt Romney give his acceptance speech in Tampa, Fla. as the Republican Presidential Nominee.

"The event was a huge success and the crowd was electrified as they watched speakers on the final night of the Republican National Convention," said Scott Mann, city of Menifee Mitt Romney 2012 Chairman.

“As a Navy veteran it was great to watch Gov. Romney’s speech with fellow veterans from Menifee," Mann said.

The gathering was sponsored by Phil Paule, the Republican-endorsed candidate for the newly redrawn 67th Assembly District.

Also in attendance were Riverside Republican Party Chairman and Murrieta City Councilman Randon Lane, Wildomar Mayor Ben Benoit, and California Republican Party Vice Chairman Steve Baric.
