Rancho California Water District Voters Encouraged to Cast Ballots by Tuesday

Tuesday is Election Day for the Rancho California Water District Board of Directors.

Temecula and Murrieta customers serviced by Rancho California Water District were reminded that Tuesday, Aug. 27, is Election Day.

Registrar of Voters Kari Verjil encouraged every eligible voter to cast a ballot in the election among candidates for the RCWD Board of Directors, according to a news release.

The election is being conducted completely by mail—ballots were mailed to eligible voters during the first week of August—so there will be no established polling places Tuesday.

On Election Day, ballots may also be cast between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Registrar of Voters office, 2724 Gateway Drive in Riverside.

All ballots must be in the possession of the Registrar of Voters by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.  Ballots with postmarks before the deadline are not accepted and can not be counted if they reach the registrar’s office after Tuesday's 8 p.m. deadline.
