Camp Pendleton Noise Advisory in Effect Through Friday

Loud explosions caused by the firing of high explosive munitions on the Camp Pendleton base will continue through March 30.

The Marines are training at Camp Pendleton this week using mortar live fire. Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.

Tuesday, Mar 27
