Mayor Recognizes Murrieta Valley Robotics Championship Team

The world champions were issued a Mayor's Proclamation that congratulated them on their win and thanked them for their hard work and dedication.

Team 569 of the NightHawks Robotics Club was in an alliance that took first place in the world during the VEX Robotics World Championships held April 20-22 in Anaheim.

This meant defeating top-scoring teams from Canada, China, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and United States.

Team 569C from Murrieta Valley finished in 30th place, and had the fourth-highest score in programming skills in the world.
