Free Paper Shredding, E-waste Collection for Murrieta Residents

To help stop identity theft and as a service to its residents, the City of Murrieta is hosting a free document onsite shredding and e-waste event. The event will be held on April 30 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until a truck is filled to capacity. Residents, with proof of residency, may bring up to three banker-sized boxes, along with electronic waste, to Murrieta City Hall at 1 Town Square, 24601 Jefferson Ave.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips.) Residents may also bring credit cards, CDs, computers, TVs, phones and radios. No businesses please.
