The overpass connecting southbound Interstate 215 to southbound Interstate 15 will be closed from approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 to 3 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. Signs will be used to notify motorists of a detour route by way of Murrieta Hot Springs Road.
The closure is due to survey work that needs to be done as part of the design for Phase II of the French Valley Parkway Interchange project, said Avlin Odviar, project manager for the city of Temecula, which is overseeing construction of the interchange.
"There will be additional night closures to finish all of the work, but those dates have not been finalized. Most likely, next week," Odviar said.
