Bono Mack Endorses Romney

Mary Bono Mack, R-Palm Springs, is among nine California elected officials to announce support of Mitt Romney in his bid for the 2012 Republican presidential race.

Rep. Mary Bono Mack, R-Palm Springs, today endorsed GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, his campaign announced.

Murrieta's congresswoman's endorsement was announced by the Romney campaign in a statement which also touted the endorsements of nine other elected officials from California, including Rep. Buck McKeon, R-Santa Clarita, and Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga.

"I am proud to have the support of so many elected officials from California,'' the former Massachusetts governor said.

Mack supported George W. Bush for president in 2000 and 2004. She endorsed Republican Rudy Giuliani in the 2008 primaries.
