A good friend sent this email and said the following and why I won't vote for Melendez for 67th District: "Do you think this is what happens when a mining operator/Developer seems to be in control of your elected politicians and the appointed officials these same politicians put in positions of authority. Do you think government employees have to follow the instructions of these same politicians in order to keep their government jobs? Do you wonder if someone would be fired if they didn't do what the politicians wanted them to do?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m_HypxyudI&feature=relmfu Have you seen the MaryAnn Edwards video featuring the Aberhill Ranch Boys and Girls Club with Castle & Cookes aggregate mining operation in the background it's across the street. Paul Jacobs may be onto something? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhckrqXX-L4 Another video of the Alberhill Ranch Boys and Girls Club which puts things in prospective: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e12kTmWvn7U&feature=related
I've talked with them both and Mr Paule is impressive with his public policy knowledge. He stands for no new taxes, supports education and bringing the Ontario Airport into the IE fold. Mr Paule is a professional, the kind of pro we need representing us in Sacramento. The kind of pro who will get things done.

" Phil Paule Fails to Appear in Court, Warrant Issued for His Arrest"...just one of numerous articles about this man's activities. Also wasn't Mr. Paule associated rather closely with Daryl Issa? I believe his resume lists him as district director for Congressman Issa. How cozy for Issa to stay connected through Mr. Paule. How much amnesia do we have to have to live here, continue to elect leaders of the same party philosophy, and then expect a different outcome? Seriously, Mr. Angulo, do you really want them as your supporters or those who you endorse? I think if the fish stink you should get out of the kitchen.

After meeting Phil Paule several times I can tell you he is elusive with his answers dwhen questioned directly. He seemed nervous when he spoke to me and to others around me. He is well known for ignoring calls to his office when he was district director of Mr. Issa. So if you want an alcoholic representative that will ignore you when in office that cannot deal with people directly and with confidence. PHIL PAULE IS YOUR MAN!

Yes, very unfortunate but well said. We will just be getting more of the same and more outside control from large corps who see our community as ripe for the picking.
