After 14 Years in Congress, Bono Mack Joins Consulting Firm

Mary Bono Mack will work for FaegreBD Consulting, advising clients on legislative, regulatory and policy matters.

Former Republican Rep. Mary Bono Mack has taken a job with a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm.

Bono Mack, who represented Murrieta prior to the November election and before redistricting took effect, will work for FaegreBD Consulting. She will focus on legislative, regulatory and policy matters related to entertainment, media and information technology, according to FaegreBD.

Bono Mack’s “understanding of energy policy complements a sophisticated energy practice spanning various U.S. markets,” the firm said in a statement. “... Bono Mack will also use her firsthand media relations experience to advise clients on media and strategic communications matters.”

Bono Mack served on the House's committees on judiciary, armed services and energy and commerce, the Energy and Telecommunications subcommittee, and chaired the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade. She lost to Democrat Raul Ruiz in November's election for the newly drawn 36th District.

“In looking toward the next phase of my career, it was important to me to join an organization with international reach and tremendous growth potential, where I could provide value and leadership in continuing to shape public policies that impact some of our most dynamic economic sectors. FaegreBD Consulting is a great fit,” Bono Mack said.

Mary will be a great resource as well for our 750 consulting and Faegre Baker Daniels legal professionals worldwide who need to understand where Washington is headed on key issues.”
