Woman Struck, Killed North of Scott Road on I-215
The 30-year-old woman was a resident of Wildomar, authorities said.
A Wildomar woman was struck and killed Monday night as she walked alongside Interstate 215 just north of Murrieta, authorities said.
Christie Yost, 30, was killed a few minutes before midnight when she was hit by a sedan on northbound Interstate 215.
Yost was walking about a mile north of Scott Road, when she was struck, according to the coroner's report.

New information from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Tuesday evening indicated that the death was being treated as suspicious.
The victim's vehicle was located near the area where the victim was struck, said Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela.

"The initial investigation revealed that the victim was run over on the roadway by another motorist," Valenzuela said.
"The motorist immediately stopped, called 911 and attempted to render aid."
Investigators have still not determined why the victim was on the roadway.
